April is National Poetry Month

Calling all poetry enthusiasts who live in the Selbyville, Roxana, Frankford, Dagsboro, Millville, Ocean View, Bethany, Fenwick, and Route 54-area, or in the surrounding small communities! It's time our unique locale had its own poetic presence!

Lake View Poetry Collective is a grassroots effort to build a multi-faceted collective of local poets, spoken word artists, and songwriters for the purposes of enriching our special place on Delmarva. Seeking to provide opportunities closer to home around southern, coastal Delaware, the mission is to ensure easier accessibility for residents, part-timers, and visitors alike who are interested in supporting and celebrating all things poetry in the 19975 and surroundings.

Be a part of something revolutionary. April is right around the corner and a number of events, celebrations, and observances are in the works to celebrate the impact & importance of poetry in our every day lives.
