What is Lake View Poetry Initiative?

Lake View Poetry Initiative is a grassroots effort to build a multi-faceted collective of poets in the southernmost coastal communities of Delaware. LVPI aims to create a thriving poetry presence in southeastern Sussex County through free workshops, events, contests, publication opportunities, promotion, and more.

Open to residents, part-timers, and visitors alike, and inviting word artists of all ages & genres to participate, Lake View Poetry Initiative seeks to provide poetic encouragement, inspiration, and education for the purposes of community enrichment and personal well-being.
